Kara is based on a story about two kids (Kaju and Jun), whose father has gone missing during the decade long conflict in the country. Both kids wander around looking for the whereabouts of their father. As Kaju the elder brother who can chat with birds, keeps asking for help from the birds to find their father. One day on their way back home, they find a little lost squab under a tree. Now they decide to find the squabs parents too and this leads them on an innocent journey.
